Twenty New College Nottingham students visited Lawrence & Pierce's offices in two separate visits recently. The students are first year HND in Business and were interested in gaining an insight into the operation of a successful Design Agency, so contacted us to see what we could do.
The students wanted to find out more about what is involved in working for a company like L&P, including the agency's structure, the pitch process, roles within teams and processes from initial brief to end campaign.
We like to be able to offer help when we can and were pleased to support local students by offering our experience to aid their learning.
Kerry Boddice, course Lecturer said: "The visits were really useful. Our students wanted an introduction to a design agency and this proved to be a great learning experience for them. Lawrence & Pierce provided an excellent example for us to relate to. We were able to get a real feel for how agencies work and were also able to ask lots of questions, which will be of great benefit in their future business lives."
