Who’d guess that I’m a morning person after I’ve heard the snooze feature on my phone going off 6 times...?
I can’t believe that, after so many rude awakenings, I’m still not up. it won’t do anymore… But I’m annoyed now. who is Mr. nokia to tell me what time I can and can’t sleep into anyway?
I know it's a Monday, because I recognise everyone in the house...
I suppose the 6110 is right though. I’m cutting it fine...
I know it's a Monday, because I recognise everyone in the house and the kitchen isn't full of wine bottles with cigarettes shaken inside them...
I am a morning person and I’m a pretty clean person too, so don't be disillusioned and think i'm a student because of my new hair...
Today, the hair chooses “weird eighties footballer look”...
“stupid uncontrollable weird hair” i think, as i check my look in the mirror... Today, the hair chooses “weird eighties footballer look”, and i have to comply.

Ok, im out! fire up the Raleigh Max in luminous yellow and roll out!! Oh yeah, i feel i have to mention i chose red hat today. i have a big choice of hats. each one has a different result on hair:
look 1: red hat - semi flat / leaves bush of hair round bottom
look 2: green hat - similar to red hat makes hair look “separated”
look 3: green and grey striped hat - all round player and lucky omen at the only ever forest game i went to. Score: Forest 4 – Southend 1
look 4: official Rocky Balboa hat - good overall coverage and flattening ability. Note - never seen Rocky Balboa
look 5: royal blue peaked beanie - the mothership, excellent flattening ability but gives hair a sheen. not sure if i like that?
There are more hats, but now’s not the time!
Took the off-road, Meadows route to work - for those of you not from Nottingham - The Meadows is NOT a meadow.
Lugged the steed up the stairs (four floors) and parked her up in the stock room.
Fired up the computer.
Put the regulation pasta dish in the fridge. I have had a lunchtime dining revelation. make the mental transition from seeing lunch as 'food', to seeing lunch as 'fuel' and you can survive on really bland, plain pasta for the week. and it will only cost 4 pounds MAX for a whole week’s refuelling. “why would you want to do that?” you ask... answer: I'm saving for a laptop!
Today I'm working on stuff for extreme sports... pretty good... get to spend my day doing 'research’. Basically, looking through skate magazines and websites... not bad!!!
This includes staying up all night youtubing stuff for research, until our eyes bleed!!!
As well as this, I have to upgrade my grey matter into being 100% competent with 'Final Cut Pro.' HD's the future for our new clients, WindowGain and I am stepping up to the challenge along with Jaymi. This includes staying up all night youtubing stuff for research, until our eyes bleed!!!
Spent the rest of the working day preparing an anti-gun campaign for Nottingham that we hope to get the account for... Oh, what a city I chose to live and work in, best get the trusty steed out... it’s time for home.
Made a diversion to a friend’s house on the way home... had a tip off that The Beat are playing at the rescue rooms and even more of a tip off that the Specials are supporting them. I have to investigate!! Once again, the steed is parked up, tins are offered and it’s true, there will be ska fun tonight...
...got shoved about for 4 hours by the biggest, bald-headed, forty year olds, in red braces
Unfortunately, a lot of the laptop fund got spent, but that’s ok. I met Phill Jupitus and got shoved about for 4 hours by the biggest, bald-headed, forty year olds, in red braces, I have ever seen!
Made it back to the safety of bed…. Time to relax with a small dose of Fawlty Towers. problem is ears are ringing too much to hear! Its ok, I have pretty much seen each episode 30+ times this month... eyes rolling...
......oh no!
............left the steed in Nottingham!
(4.30AM – woken to the sound of looped title screen of Fawlty Towers.)
